Bespoke garden rooms in Brentwood
We design and build bespoke garden rooms in Brentwood, from home offices for the days you work locally to gyms and family rooms. Every room comes with an all-inclusive price, and our indoor showroom is just 25 minutes up the A12, so you can see the finishes and materials in person before you decide.
Garden rooms in Brentwood, designed around your home
Many of our garden rooms in Brentwood begin as a garden office, then become a gym, a family snug, or somewhere comfortable for guests to stay.
Your design consultant takes you from first ideas to final layout, with floor plans and CGI visuals showing the room in your garden before it’s built.
Our Brentwood garden rooms are fully finished when we hand them over, and because our pricing is all-inclusive, you will never be asked to pay extra for the things that make a room comfortable to use.

What to expect from Rooms To Grow in Brentwood
We look after every stage of the project ourselves, from the first site survey through to the final coat of paint, and it is the same careful approach we bring to all our garden rooms in Essex.

A team that knows Brentwood
Our base in Great Baddow is just up the A12, so we know Brentwood and the surrounding villages well. The same in-house team designs and builds your room, and your project manager keeps you updated from start to finish.

Comfortable in every season
Every Brentwood garden room is fully insulated and heated, so it feels just as welcoming on a cold January morning as on a summer evening. If you want a space for the colder months, our winter garden rooms show how warm and inviting a well-built room can be.

Garden gyms in Brentwood
A garden gym room in Brentwood puts your training just a few steps from the back door. We plan the layout around your equipment, with room to move and air conditioning available if you like to train hard, and many families find the same space works brilliantly as a den or homework room too.
Garden offices in Brentwood
With the Elizabeth line on the doorstep, many Brentwood residents now split the week between London and home, and a garden office in Brentwood turns those home days into productive ones, with a quiet, professional space well away from the distractions of the house.
We design the office around the way you work, from where the desk faces to how much storage and natural light you need. Some clients want a compact room for one, while others like space for a small meeting area or a comfortable chair for the end of the day.
When your garden office in Brentwood is handed over, the hard-wired internet is live, the sockets and lighting are exactly where you need them and the heating is ready for the colder months. You can find more inspiration on our garden office page.
Visit our showroom, just up the A12 from Brentwood
Our indoor showroom is at Unit C, 279 Beehive Lane, Great Baddow, Chelmsford CM2 8LU, around 12 miles from Brentwood and usually about 25 minutes by car along the A12.
It is the best way to get a real feel for the quality of our garden rooms. You can see the finishes up close, switch the lighting on and off and compare cladding and door options, then sit down with our design team to talk through what would work in your garden.

Frequently asked questions
Can’t find the answer that you’re looking for? Get in touch with us.
We cover the whole borough, including the town centre, Warley, Hutton and Pilgrims Hatch, the villages to the north such as Doddinghurst, Kelvedon Hatch and Blackmore, and Ingatestone, Mountnessing, Herongate and West Horndon. Beyond the borough, we regularly work in Billericay, Basildon and Chelmsford.
In most cases you can, although Brentwood Borough Council has 13 conservation areas, including Brentwood Town Centre, Hutton Village, Great Warley, South Weald and Ingatestone. The permitted development rules are tighter inside them, so planning permission is more likely to be needed. This is something we look at during the design stage, and if an application is needed we can take care of it for you as an optional extra.
A Green Belt location does not usually stop a garden room on its own. Large parts of Brentwood borough are Green Belt, yet permitted development rights for a room in an existing garden normally still apply, subject to the same height and size rules as anywhere else. You can look up your address on the council’s My Property service, and we confirm the position before any work starts.
For many families it is, because a garden room is built in the garden rather than onto the house, so there is far less disruption at home while the work goes on, and in most cases it will not need planning permission. It also gives you a separate space, which suits an office, gym or den better than an extra room off the kitchen.
Desk-based work is usually fine. Things change if clients visit regularly, staff work on site or the business affects your neighbours, for example through extra parking on your road, and in those cases Brentwood Borough Council may need to approve a change of use. We ask how you plan to use the room at the design stage so there are no surprises.
You can see our Brentwood project, along with many others, on our case studies page. You are also welcome to visit our showroom in Great Baddow, around 25 minutes from Brentwood, to see the build quality, finishes and lighting in person.
